The Legends Reborn
Last updated 30 July 2011

HOW DO I GET PROMOTED IN THIS GUILD?
First off, let me explain guild quests and what they are. In The Legends Reborn one of our main focuses is taking care of our friends and members, our strength is in our numbers and in our loyalty to each other.
When our loyalty to each other fails our strength follows.
Each of these guild quests is about helping the guild grow stronger, and helping you grow stronger. If you are looking for a guild that is only interested in your gear score or what bosses you have taken or the fact that you know "All the fights" this might not be the right guild for you. If you are looking for a guild where your participation in guild events gets you noticed, and gets you friends you can count on when you need it, this is EXACTLY the place for you!

You may NOT take these quests on yourself
You MUST be given the quest and report back to whoever gives you the quest when finished.
Doing any of these quests without prior appoval will not be counted tward completion of the quest!!!

First promotion
(Applicant to Novice within 7 days of joining)
Log Onto the web site, read the rules and follow the instructions there. (you are not required to create an account to read these rules or be promoted.) This quest is worth 100 TLRP's and is not repeatable

First Quest:
(Trainee to Private)
(Min one week as a trainee required)
Give away 20 6 slot bags in any area except capitol cities to level 15 and below (one bag to a person) acquiring the bags is your responsibility, you may get them from a vendor, from the AH from friends and guild members, but they must be given away at no charge. This Quest is worth up to 400 TRLP's (20 per bag) so do as many as you can if you dont do all 20 let us know how many you did, and the proper credit will be given. this is NOT a repeatable quest

Second Quest:
(Private To Sergeant)
(Min one Week as Private Required)
Provide stacks of mats to your quest giver, each stack will be worth an amount determined by your quest giver, so if you turn in crap, you will get crap for TRLP's, if you turn in a stack of Maelstrom Crystals you will get 200 TRLP's for each stack This quest WILL be repeatable, however like most rep grind repeatable quests after you are a sergeant, the turn in value of the mats will drop substantially. These mats must be turned into your quest giver and be mats that someone can use to level a profession, or provide substantial help to guild members.

TLRPs are always at the discretion of the quest giver. However, here is a generalized list that can be used as a guideline:

50 TLRPs = 1 stack of Savage Leather
50 TLRPs = 1 stack of Hypnotic Dust
50 TLRPs = 1 stack of Obsidian Ore
50 TLRPs = 1 stack of Embersilk
75 TLRPs = 1 stack of Heavy Savage Leather
75 TLRPs = 1 stack of Heavenly Shard
75 TLRPs = 1 stack of Elementium Ore
150 TLRPs = 1 stack of Pyrite Ore
150 TLRPs = 1 stack of Greater Celestial Essence
200 TLRPs = 1 stack Maelstrom Crystal
200 TLRPs = 1 stack any Cata Gem (uncut blue quality)
300 TLRPs = 1 stack any Volatile (Earth, Fire, Air, Water, Life)

Third Quest:
(Sergeant to Master Sergeant) (Min one Week as Sergeant required)
Invite 5 people to the guild who are at least level 10, you will be thier personal mentor, you will check with them each time you see them and help them learn the ropes of our guild, if they have questions, you will help them find the answers, if they need assistance you will assist them or help them find the assistance they need until they reach the rank of Private in the guild. you dont have to do everything for them, but you will be thier Mentor and go to person in the guild until they get to know us better. You should encourage them to do the first guild quest and even help them with it if possible. Once they make the rank of Private Send a mail to your quest giver with thier name for 200 TLRP's. This quest will also be repeatable once you make the rank of sergeant for a value of 100 TLRPs for each member making it to the rank of Private. When the person you invited makes the rank of Private Send a note to your quest giver with thier name for your credit.

Fourth Quest:
(Master Sergeant to Captain)
(minimum one month as Mst Sgt Req)
This is the quest that promotes you to a guild officer, it is one of the most difficult quests as a result. Usually this quest will involve running a specified instance with guild members a specific number of times, but may be changed depending on what officers position your are being considered for. You must also be level 30 (exceptions made by Goorr alone!) This Rank REQUIRES you be on at least 2 times a week for several hours each time to perform your duties. If you are absent for an extended period of time (in excess of 2 weeks) without letting your superior officer know why you will be absent you may be subject to demotion.

Fifth Quest:
(Captain to Major)
(Must be active in helping guild members in thier class!)
TO achieve the rank of Major in your class you must respec 100% of your talents into one tree for 4 days, then respec totally into your second tree for 4 days then respec into your third tree for 4 days. ALL OF YOUR TALENT POINTS MUST BE IN THAT ONE TREE! You must report to your class colonel at the beginning of each respec. After your final 4 days, if your superior officer thinks you have learned the lessons of each tree you will be eligible for promotion to this rank. You do not automatically get this promotion; you can only be ELIGIBLE for it. the promotion will be done SOLELY ON THE DECISION OF THE RANKING CLASS OFFICER BASED ON THIER OPINION OF WHO WILL DO THE BEST JOB FOR THIS POSITION!!! If you have respec'd before, you must still complete this from scratch to achieve this. You must also be level 40 (exceptions made by Goorr alone!) This Rank REQUIRES you be on at least 3 times a week for several hours each time to perform your duties. If you are absent for an extended period of time (in excess of 2 weeks) without letting your superior officer know why you will be absent you may be subject to demotion.

Sixth Quest:
(Major to Colonel)
(Must be very helpful to guild members in thier class and have led a guild raid at least 2 times)
This is the highest available level of command available to a guild member without a special invitation, currently there are only 1 slot available for each class and you will not be promoted to this slot until a slot is open. The requirement for this top promotion is to submit IN WRITING via MAIL ON THE GUILD MESSAGE BOARDS TO GOORR an essay on your class explaining the pros and cons of your class, for each of the different spec's OR an essay on how to play this class well in a group with other classes in a raid or an instance. while grammar and spelling are not counted in the grade CONTENT is CRITICAL it must be well thought out and accurate!!! Completion of this quest DOES NOT EARN YOU THAT RANK it only makes you ELIGABLE for this rank. The final decision on this is made by GOORR alone, and your essay, will be posted on the guild web Site as a guide for members of your class!!! You must also be level 50 (exceptions made by Goorr alone!) This Rank REQUIRES you be on at least 4 times a week for several hours each time to perform your duties. If you are absent for an extended period of time (in excess of 2 weeks) without letting your superior officer know why you will be absent you may be subject to demotion.

Seventh Quest
(Colonel to General)
this rank is only available to fill specific positions and is only made by invitation from Goorr Himself, it is NOT POSSIBLE to Achieve this rank on ambition, there must be a job opening, and you must be the best qualified person to fill that job. You must also be a MASTER in at least one profession. This Rank REQUIRES you be on at least 5 times a week for several hours each time to perform your duties. If you are absent for an extended period of time (in excess of 2 weeks) without letting your superior officer know why you will be absent you may be subject to demotion.
